On a side note, has anyone with RPL ever had testing to check for infection of the uterine lining or endometrium? The website says that it can be cultured and treated with antibiotics. Just wondering what this culture consists of? Pain?? I hope not!!! But if it gives us an answer, of course it would be worth it!
For those of you who are interested, here's the website of the clinic:
This link takes you directly to the Recurrent Pregnancy Loss page. My RE in Nashville said that he's a very good doctor & that his expertise if RPL. I haven't heard of too many doctors with that specialty. There's also a video to watch that is good. His name is Dr. William Kutteh. Anyone of you ever been to him?

I have no idea whether this is remotely similar or not, but I have had a biopsy of my uterine lining before and I can tell you that, for me at least, it was painless. I was so nervous about it and the nurse even told me to keep my breathing steady through the procedure so I wouldn't pass out when I felt the "pinch" -- which made me more nervous -- but honestly it was no worse than having a pap smear. Again, I know it wasn't a culture to check for infection, so I don't know if the procedure would be similar or not. Just thought I'd share.
Praying for you as you make the decision to go or not. Remember, even if you go, it's up to you how far you want to move ahead from there. One step at a time.
Stacey, thank you for your sweet post. Thankfully the culture did not hurt at all. It was just a swab!!
Oh, I'm so glad to hear it!
