I am comforted in knowing that he is going to a good home. I believe they will love him and teach him about the Lord. Still, my heart aches. But God has given me peace.

Leaving Us
After welcoming Little Guy into our home at 6 days old, loving him as my own child, watching him grow and flourish to be almost 7 months old, he will be leaving our home and going to live with a family member in a few days. The decision has been made, the plans are set, and we are preparing our hearts to say goodbye.

Aww, so sorry to hear that Birdie. I was just thinking about him the other day. :( I hope he is loved and happy whereever he goes.

I am asking God to hold you and Jay in His loving arms as you have to let "Little Guy" go to his new home! I know that with God's help you will make it but I also know that it will be a VERY difficult time for you.
I hope that you can find comfort knowing that you both have given him EVERYTHING he has needed since he came into your hearts and home!
